Leaving the Dominican Republic physically didn't mean leaving it behind emotionally. Which is why I find myself deeply invested in its well-being, even from afar. One issue that resonates deeply with me is the way girls are often confined to domestic duties while their brothers pursue education. It’s sad. And unfair.

My Middle School Business

In 2015, during middle school, I launched a thriving business driven by my love for design. Ignited with passion and a handful of Ultra Fine Point Colored Sharpies, I designed phone cases, exploring various styles and catering to diverse tastes. Supported by my friends, I served as CEO and chief designer, earning $500 Dominican pesos(around $8 US dollars) per design.
